Capturing some Autumn

Road trek a bit up north for a change of scenery, the air was cooler, the leaves were a week or two ahead of our trees, nice to drive around when the youngest is on a play date so it's just the husband and me - no one asking "are we there yet?" when to us the whole point is the drive not the destination.

Beautiful, beautiful photographs. I especially like the first one. Is that your yard? Tom is more the destination guy. Not me. :<)

No, we drove up North about forty minutes - that was a yard in Ridgefield, Ct, a very pretty town. We were actually on the hunt for fall leaf color and good apples. Found some changing of the trees, no apples, and two really cute puppets in some store (I use puppets in my library program) so a good day!
