Fabulous quote, it sums up just what Sundays mean to me. Thank you.

Hi Susan, this is in reponsde to your question on Honey, What's Cooking (www.honeywhatscooking.com). It would be better if you used fresh pumpkin, you can probably get this at a Farmer's Market. You can certainly try it with Canned Pumpkin, but there will be a difference in taste. Let me know if you try it!

I wonder if this is true for most people. It seems like Sundays as well as Saturdays are catch up days - time to do everything possible in two days. I just saw you have Chinaberry on your sidebar. Why did I never notice it before?? Oh, Susan, how we loved that catalogue when my kids were little. Before the internet, that was such a source of information for me. And those wonderful notes she would write at the beginning. I do occasionally stop by the website.

Thanks Cait, me too.
Honey, it will probably be awhile until I get around to cooking it (am not the chief cook) but I will let you know when I do!
Nan, I used to wait for that catalog, settle in with some tea, it felt like Ann, the founder, was an old friend. I did not have too many bookish moms at home to hang with back then (possibly why I became a librarian?). Can you imagine how much fun it would have been to have a blog back then?
