P-town

In Provincetown, on the beach, was this perfect sized, perfectly blue house. I like the shape of it. I can just imagine a little stove inside, a cup of tea, and maybe a lovely dory to go out on the water like the one below, all chipping paint glory. Perhaps even a nice cat although not this one, pretty ginger but took swipes at passerbys, quite a grouch, as we sat inside this enjoyable restaurant enjoying delicious chowder.

Lovely photos, especially the last one. I've only seen those places in films before, it's hard to think of people actually living in them.

Great blog.

Thank you for visiting :) Cape Cod has changed a lot but is still the stuff of New England dreams...

The little blue house, the grouchy cat, the blue water, red boat, footprints in the sand....loved it all. I'm attracted to your writing and your photos and so I plan to visit Sun Pours Down Like Honey often. Very nice of you to leave this old gal a birthday greeting. It was appreciated.

Awesome photos, Susan. Cape Cod is the #1 place in America I long to visit. Thanks for giving me a glimpse!

Do you have any favorite Cape Cod books? I love to read about the area.
