Some photographs from my Dad's Air Force days - to celebrate the man no longer here - but, oh, look at the snap in that walk as he and a buddy owned a street in St. Louis. :)
Those are wonderful pictures, Susan, and they really came out well on the blog. Did you take pictures of them? Or is there another way to do it? All those young men - so alive, so full of joy. I love how you said 'owned that street' - just perfect. Such a nice tribute to your dad.
Thanks, Nan. I scanned them into my computer - my new copier has a scanner in it and it has proved very useful for photos - have scanned in photos that are fading as well as children's drawings etc. - seems a good way to save for posterity.
