Edinburgh

Out and about this lovely city
It's the Fringe festival crowds and high season for tourists

Sword swallower outside of the museum

Cool heads ruling in the museum but it's wild around town

A little more Vermont

Best movie theatre and terrific restaurant.  Waitsfield, The Big Picture.
Noontime bear sighting on Bragg Hill
Yes, we were thrilled (and happily in my car)
Very happy to see nature from my car when nature is a bear (who looks small here but was not at all)
Of course this trash monster in Burlington was pretty alarming too :)

Always a beautiful spot in Warren to relax
And a shop in Waitsfield that is straight out of a fairy tale.

Bless the beasties

Snaps of the less glamorous critters in the pet supply store...
Sad faced ferret

Guinea Pig with deep thoughts

And not so deep...

Noses
And
Toeses

Rodents wig me out but still I like their delicate feet, whiskery mugs, like this cutie, a hamster the sign said...

And this guy

Hope they all find good homes.

Dress your dog like a Wookie

Seriously, they have this.

As the husband was buying dog food, I meandered about.

There is a whole Stars Wars themed section. I know people who will be driving over there upon learning this. Geeks rule.

"Do. Or do not. There is no try."

Vermont Library

One wonders

A bevy of bookends
A good view, summer green
I love the massively heavy doors in old libraries where just pulling open that weight makes you feel something worthwhile awaits inside.

Why should I be unhappy? Every parcel of my being is in full bloom.

Yes and yes

Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense.

So speak encouraging words to one another.  Build up hope so you'll all be together in this, no one left behind.
