They chewed the insulation off the wires and shorted out the motor. My dad was livid. He climbed up on the roof, removed the nest, threw it in the dumpster (babies and all!) and actually bought a pellet pistol to shoot them. Both my mom and I were horrified when we found out later that he'd tossed a nest full of baby squirrels in the dumpster (by then it was too late to save them), but he was unrepentant. This is also the man who would not allow the pet dogs and cats we had growing up to come in the house. Now when he comes to my house, he's convinced the moment he walks in the door, every cat hair in the house is attracted to him like a magnet.WOLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03775462248193876148noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2413463670243677042.post-19143317318412265752011-08-21T12:53:03.589-04:002011-08-21T12:53:03.589-04:00update: the squirrel rehabilitition expert says t...update: the squirrel rehabilitition expert says they are doing very well, are about four weeks old, and are both little boys.Susan Moorheadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06744130110550636177noreply@blogger.com
